This is a statement of professional competence of one Mr. Hugh Fraser.  The following discussion points will provide examples of Mr. Fraser’s skills, intellect and business acumen.

Hugh Fraser took over the operations management for Hilti Fastening Systems West Coast Division, as I became one of two Regional Sales Managers for the same division.  He inherited a horrible situation, with no operational systems and marginal employees in disarray.  He quickly re-organized the situation, put fail-safe systems in place and took the necessary actions with the majority of employees.  His actions directly led to that division being able to achieve record sales and results year after year.

Knowing his operational expertise, I engaged Hugh as a consultant to my division at Overhead Door Company in the early 90’s.  I had taken over a troubled situation and was in desperate need of some guidance outside my areas of expertise.  He responded immediately and provided ideas and operational concepts that were put in place.

As my career moved on, I tried to recruit Hugh for an operations position I had in Atlanta.  That is the kind of faith I have in him and his skills.  Unfortunately, he declined the offer and continued his teaching and writing career in the Reno area.
